AI needs to go back to the lab

AI needs to go back to the lab -- to die. Just get rid of it. Stop using it for writing. It is terrible at writing. I read your blog when it said "Its not THIS, tis THAT", I barfed. So gross! Don't even ask it for grammar checks. It can't even do that well. Your worst writing is better than the best AI writing.

I was more hopeful about AI coding, but I have changed my mind about that. I thought that it would enable people to do some amateur coding, but it doesn't work like that. The AI makes too many mistakes. It really needs an expert operator to correct these. Most people don't know where to start, so they just quit. Very few people will investigate, or troubleshoot. AI won't help with this in its current form.

Agentic coding is doomed. From what I have seen, It seems to be a way to generate huge amounts of tokens. You will be charged for AI by the token, and the prices have already started to go up.

But I still use AI images. I'm working on getting rid of them. Got some new tricks.
