"Science Faction IV" is a thought-provoking exploration of the dysfunctional state of the modern healthcare system. Writer and Director Ari Bobari follows the journey of two scientists, Dr. Liam Nelson and Dr. Emma Bobemma (played by John Beaubonne and Lucy Bobucey) as they navigate the frustrating maze of insurance bureaucracy and endless medical testing.

Despite paying exorbitant sums for their so-called "comprehensive" health coverage, Nelson and Bobemma find themselves trapped in a cycle of endless appointments, scans, and lab work - with no actual diagnosis or treatment in sight. As their conditions worsen and their bills pile up, the scientists begin to uncover a disturbing truth: the healthcare industry seems more interested in generating revenue than providing effective care.

Through a series of tense, cinéma vérité-style sequences, "Science Faction IV" lays bare the absurdities and inequities of a system that prioritizes profits over patient well-being. The script is sharp and incisive, delivering moments of dark humor amidst the frustration and despair experienced by the protagonists.

The performances from Beaubonne and Bobucey are gripping, conveying the mounting sense of helplessness and outrage as they navigate the Kafkaesque bureaucracy of insurance providers and medical facilities. The film's pulsing dubstep score heightens the sense of unease, underscoring the high stakes for the characters as their health and financial security hang in the balance.

In the end, they die.

They are still being billed to this day.
