
Tracker 3 is part of the Gnome desktop system. Its job is to scan your files, use all of your CPU resources, drain your battery, overheat your computer, leak memory, and waste your disk space. Here are some ways that I have found to keep it from running.

In Ubuntu 22.04, When I right-click on the file icon in the dock and select the downloads folder from the menu, I get an error! It can't find the folder! Has this ever happened to you? No? Well too bad. It happens to me in the future, so I'm blogging it anyway.
